“the new seo process which seo strategy is best for my store”

Let’s say you’re looking for bloggers to outreach to for backlinks and content sharing. Where do lots of bloggers spend their time? Blog comments where they try to connect with their favourite authors.
Totally agree with you on this one. It is a common trait I guess. Tim Ferris said he had disclosed everything about how he got to where he is right now and anyone who wants to be at his place just need to read and follow but hardly anyone practices it but lets not bitter the mood with these thoughts 🙂
If you ask Google they will tell you that any links pointing to your website has to be natural links. Natural links are exactly what their name implies. A website owner or blogger likes another website or blog and naturally adds a link to his/her blog.
With search engine marketing, on the other hand, you pay to play on the SERPs. Essentially, you pay to show your ads to users who are actively searching for the keywords you’re targeting. You don’t need a high site authority in order to be able to show up on the first page of Google when you’re willing to pay for it.
This is an awesome post. Clearly you know your stuff, and I’ve spent the last hour just pouring over (only) the first few ideas you’ve presented here. Thanks so much. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!!
Google Analytics is the de facto analytics software, and the only tool for checking lots of data – but I find I log into my Clicky account more than I do GA these days – if all I want is a quick and dirty analysis of a page or keyword. Brilliant tool.
6. Include a unique meta description for each page. Include phrasing that has a call to action since it is seen under your title in many search engines. For example: Buy a used car today. We offer great financing for our used cars. To learn more about our used cars, trucks and automobiles call 1-800-used-cars today. Use no more than 155 characters.
With keyword research completed and metadata optimized, it is time to optimize the content. If the content was created with the keyword topic research in mind, you will have already sprinkled your keywords throughout the page naturally. With that in mind, let’s focus on some other on-page optimization elements.
168. Investing in SEO – Although this article is not related to taking your first steps in search engine optimization, I wanted to introduce it anyway because it throws light on the practical aspects of working in, and with SEO. In it, Jeff Sauer discusses how PPC is commonly favored in detriment to SEO simply because it delivers immediate results, and success (or lack thereof) can be easily measured. As a future optimizer, you may have to deal with customers and educate them on how your work brings improvements. Sauer’s article on Proving SEO Value is somewhat related, and worth a read.
Interstitial Ads: Google has confirmed it may choose to penalize sites that display interstitial, full-screen ads (below) to users on mobile devices. So be careful with interstitials—particularly those that block users from reading content as soon as they hit your page.
It’s also important to point out that links ON Social Media platforms are mostly nofollow so rarely impact your website’s actual SEO. So don’t go flinging around your website URL on social platforms thinking it’ll improve your SEO because that just isn’t the case.
To sum it up, you need to remain on the right side of Google, one way or another. Specifically, do not try to game the system — it will not work in the long run. Instead, make sure that your anchor text is natural (avoid over-optimization, use relevant anchors, do not link to low-quality websites), and use keyword-rich links once in a while to help you rank.
Interesting pictures get shared on Pinterest and social networks. Getting users to tag and comment on photos also makes your content unique. Your brand grows stronger as word of mouth spreads. With optimized images, you can even pull in more traffic from Google image search.
“We do SEO, and nothing but SEO. That’s because we want to focus all our energy on doing SEO as brilliantly as we can. Oh, and because it’s the single highest-performing digital marketing channel out there for many of our clients.”
Online businesses working on improving their SEO can positively impact rankings with on-page optimizations and off-page efforts. Paid search results can be more directly affected, but are still subject to algorithmic ranking factors such as quality score. Higher organic search rankings often enable ecommerce stores to lower their advertising spend, effectively balancing out their SEM visibility. Though hiring an in-house or freelance SEO specialist can seem expensive, the ROI can be significantly greater than continuously paying for PPC ads.
SEO and SEM are not competing services. SEO is considered a subset of SEM services. Today, if you want to conduct business on the Internet you need to be visible in both organic and advertised links, which means you need both SEO and SEM.
On the voice and natural language side, it’s all about FAQs (frequently asked questions). Virtual assistants and smart home devices have made voice recognition and natural language processing (NLP) not only desirable but an expected search vector. To predict how to surface a business’ results in a voice search, SEO professionals now need to concentrate on ranking for the common NL queries around target keywords. Google’s Quick Answers exist to give its traditional text-based search results an easy NL component to pull from when Google Assistant is answering questions.
There is a lot involved with search engine marketing. In fact, it can be a bit overwhelming, even for those with a great deal of experience. The good news is that by taking it one step at a time, it is not hard to learn. And once learned, search engine marketing can provide an effective method of driving highly targeted visitors to your web site.
Flash might look pretty, but it does nothing for your SEO. According to the Search Engine Journal, “Frames, Flash and AJAX all share a common problem – you can’t link to a single page… Don’t use Frames at all and use Flash and AJAX sparingly for best SEO results.”
Most businesses use website plugins that automatically create product feeds based on the content of a website. This means the more each product page is optimized for the best keywords, the more impressions it will receive.
Google has been experimenting recently with the number of character spaces they allow brands in their titles and meta descriptions. Although the increased length has not been universal, the brands that do receive the additional space have been noticeable. The meta descriptions have more lines and stand out on the SERP. These brands now have more space to use keywords to match user intent and show why their site is the superior choice to the others on the SERP.
With all the challenges of running an e-commerce enterprise, few businesses think about unique content on product pages. Many pull product information from a database, leading to duplicate content problems.
While this may not provide you with all of the statistics and search volumes, you can start to get an idea for what keywords show up the most. And then you can cross reference it with any other software you might have.

“Organic” search engine marketing (organic search listings) combines the best practices of creativity, technology, usability, copy, and online promotion / PR. This is because many search engines base their relevancy algorithms on a combination of the text they see on a page, site, video, or image and combine the content information with external elements such as links and user behaviors/preferences demonstrated over time for a domain, content source, or specific content element.
If your website is beginning to grow in content, it may be a good idea to begin categorizing your URLs. If you have an overwhelming amount of content, Google needs to sort it out first. You can help search engines do this by creating a URL structure that categorizes your content. “www.kyleeggleston.com/children/identity-protection” is an example of an SEO-friendly URL structure. You may also notice the use of dashes in the URL. Search engines favor dashes over underscores. The reason for this is because underscores are considered ‘alpha characters’ and do not separate words. Dashes are word separators, but should still not be used excessively at the risk of looking spammy.

To automate the guest blogging research process, you can use social media, Twitter to be more exact. I recommend you to use Topsy, which can send email alerts when keywords you want to track, are posted on Twitter. For example, to get email alerts when someone on Twitter mentions a keyword like ‘seo guest blog’, click on the Settings icon and then on ‘Get email alerts’.
Search engine optimization, or SEO, is different because businesses don’t pay Google for traffic and clicks; rather, they earn a free spot in in the search results by having the most relevant content for a given keyword search.

  1. For example, naming a page URL “www.kyleeggleston.com.com/29439-take-caution-with-your-childrens-id” is a poor choice for a URL – not just for search engines, but also for visitors. Instead, keep the keyword concise in the URL and avoid any unnecessary words or characters. “www.kyleeggleston.com/child-identity-protection” is a much clearer, concise URL that can be understood by humans and search engines. Moreover, it also includes keywords in the URL which further describes your page to visitors.
Hi, Can I post links of my website on different blogs (those are created by me so that I can make backlinks with quality of content on the blog). Will this improve my website ranking for the links ? Or will it be penalised by google ? Please advise.
Anytime you are stuck or need answers, jump into SEO communities to ask questions. Google’s Webmaster Forum offers the largest SEO community on the web. Another good community is the Webmaster World Forum. Others I recommend are Moz’s Q&A Forum, SEOChat — which is where I started learning about SEO, SEO Round Table, and Search Engine Watch Forum.
