Description metadata is the textual description that a browser will use in your page search return. Think of it as your site’s window display—a concise and appealing description of what is contained within, with the goal of encouraging people enter.
In the real world, its not so easy. For example, I have 2 niches where I’m trying to use your technique. By keywords, its Software for Moving and Free Moving Quotes. I have 2 websites that related to each of them, emoversoftware.com (emover-software.com as initial, they linked together) and RealMoving.com ( for latter keyword). So, to begin with, none of those niches has Wikipedia articles, so your first suggestion will not work. But, in general suggestions, you are advising to get backlinks (of authoritative sites of course). But check this out – my site emover-software.com has only 4(!) backlinks (https://openlinkprofiler.org/r/emover-software.com#.VXTaOs9VhBc) and, however, listed as #1 (or #2) by my keyword. (moving software, software for moving, software for moving company). RealMoving.com has more than 600 backlinks and is way back in ranks ( 170 and up) by my keyword. Even though those sites have different competition, its still makes no sense! It doesn’t seem like Google even cares about your backlinks at all! I also checked one of my competitor’s backlinks, its more than 12000, however, his rank by keyword related to moving quotes even worse than mine!.

I think serious businesses of all sizes would do better following this method than any search-based due diligence (since marketers by nature are excellent at “marketing” themselves even if terrible at SEO). I also know it’s better than “recommended” lists which are usually driven by industry politics and traded referrals, not merit.
Through paid search advertising you essentially buy advertising space in the search engine results. So instead of trying to rank higher and get free traffic you pay to appear in front of the searches.
Not sure, Roberto. Wikipedia has a ton of internal rules that’s I’m not super-familiar with. As I said in the post you’re better off targeting other (non-Wikipedia) sites that are linking to that dead resource.
It is not always that easy to start with the keyword in mind and write an effective title and article. I find it much easier to start simply with the ‘concept’ of what the article is going to be about. Outline it as you would normally, without thinking about keywords or SEO. Then simply write an effective article. Once you are done, and happy with the content of the post, re-read it and add your keywords where they make sense and seem natural. Once they are appropriately placed in the copy, you can write the title for the post. Remember to include the keyword in the title.

Use negative keywords. These keywords limit a number of keyword variations you will show up for. For instance, if your product isn’t free, you can stop your ads to appear for all searches that include the word free in them. Negative keywords have three match types which are broad, phrase, and exact. They work the same way of keyword match types but with the opposite goal.
