The biggest rule is that you target your website content towards humans first and search engines second. For example, don’t just write filler, thin or otherwise weak content stuffed with awkwardly positioned keywords. Think about what the human user will want to experience when they visit your website. As long as you obey the policies of the major search engines, you are a White Hat SEO’er. If you focus on human visitors, you’ll receive links from other websites which will fuel your strategy.
